" Dear Host Family,
My name is Samira, but everybody calls me Sa, it’s my nickname, I’m 22 years old and I live in Bauru, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. I’m a sympathetic, happy, funny, caring, playful and sweet person.
My experiences with children are very wide and funny. In n January 2011 I started an internship in school children. There I've had experience with children of various ages, from 5 months to 6 years old. At school there are times to play, dance, music, drawing, watching movies, playing in the Sand Park, have breakfast and lunch.
In school we teach children to exit the diaper. Good time to play is always fun, I'm very playful with children. What I most enjoy doing with them is to dance and listen to music and playing the big bad wolf in the park of sand. But I play everything with the children as to play hide-and-seek; to play tag and to play hopscotch. Around 9 o'clock in the morning we had breakfast, the 11 hours of the morning we had lunch and when we help children eat, we give food in the mouth. After a while after lunch we all go to the room to sleep, they take a bottle, we change the diaper so that they have a good sleep. I loved working with children, learn how with them and teach them.
Now, I will talk a little about my family and my life.
In my free time I love go to the cinema, gym, watch a television, use the computer, go out with my friends, go the shopping, cook some special food, and more a lot of things. My feed is well diversified I like everything, what I like most is rice, beans, meat and salad.
I come from a family of divorced parents. This divorced occurred when I had one year, later that I started to live with my mother. My mother Daniela, married again, with Márcio, my stepfather, it’s like a father to me, and I love him.
So we changed the Bauru city and go live in Ribeirao Preto - SP. My mother Daniela, of 38 years old, she is a housewife, she does a little of everything, she is very good. She does better is cook, everyone loves their food. She had three children with my stepfather; they are Márcio Junior, now with 11 years old and twins called Isabela and Beatriz, with 8 years old. My brother and sisters are the love of my life.
Since when my brother born I always help my mother with him, because I love children, I love help my mother with him. I help my mother changing diapers, bottle-feeding, bathing and etc. Thence they are grew and I started to play, ride, help with homework, to picnic in the square and much more. I consider myself much more than a sister for them.
My stepfather, Márcio, 38 years old, he works in a company (General Motors) and he always have to keep changing city ever three years. We already live in Ribeirao Preto/SP; Belo Horizonte/MG; Rio de Janeiro/RJ; Sao Caetano do Sul/SP and the last (for now) Porto Alegre/ RS.
When I completed 18 years old I start my College, so I could not keep changing city with my family again, and for this reason, now I live in Bauru again, with my grandmother Irene.
My grandmother (68 years old) is the better person of Brazil, she is pretty, nice, intelligent, her food is wonderful, and her do everything to me. I love her so much. I live in Bauru three years ago, when I arrived here I started a course, the name is physiotherapy, I am going to 3th year of physiotherapy in 2011 and I love this course because I love help people.
In the future when I return to my country, I think to do a graduation to become a great professional. I love the area of esthetic and the pediatric in the Physiotherapy.
In Bauru I have little cousins and we loved go to the cinema and the pool together.
In 2009 I won a present of my aunt, a goddaughter, Laís, now she is with 2 years old, she is beautiful girl, and she always comes to sleep in my grandmother with me. I take lunch, dinner, bath, change diapers and play with her. She is a sweet child.
Well always I felt like the new culture, language and the new places, but always is difficult because study in another country is a very expansive, and I don’t have that.
I want to be an Au Pair because I am a patient person, I take care children since I had ten years old. And so I learned to love kids, play with children, help them and etc. That is an opportunity to improve my English, visit new places, and new culture.
Well, I hope you host family, that you a family friendly, That Will respect me, and when I need help, you help me and make me feel part of the family, because when I leave here, Brazil, I am already thinking about my new brothers and sisters.
